World, meet Guinevere!

Guinevere is a Bengal kitten that I picked up in May of 2006. These cats are typically very expensive ranging from $800 to $1,500 bucks. Guinevere was a project though so the breeder let me have her for $300. 'Project' meaning that Guinevere had not been socialized and was three months old. Anyone who knows anything about cats sees the difficulty here, especially since Bengal cats have a % of their bloodline that is not domestic. Guinevere came home and was confined to our master bath. Her food was placed right next to me on the floor and I spent HOURS letting her build up confidence to approach me and the food. As she became comfortable around me and her new enviroment she was given access to the master bedroom, and slowly the remainder of the house. Although she is MY cat, she loves my wife. My wife insists that she "hates cats but Guinevere is alright" -- Right. Aimee and Guinevere are seen nightly watching digital recordings of Horatio... I'm sorry -- CSI which happens to have a character named Horatio -- but that is an entirely different blog!
